Gordon Lee Architects is pleased to introduce an interesting industrial development project in one of the Brisbane Northside Prominent Industrial Area close to Gateway Motorway. Our client was intended to construct and provide long term leasing of the industrial development to one leading refuse collection company, for their regional office and depot.
The office building is designed to reinforce all regional operating departments under one roof. The use of colorbond roofing material wrapping into overhang wall element has emphasised the industrial feeling of the building. Through the careful use of FC wall sheeting, colorbond wall sheeting and least maintenance painted blockwall further articulate a simple shape building into an interesting facade which further relate to the internal functional spaces directly corresponding with.
The Truck and Bin Workshop Buiildings uterlise simple long clear span which provides required space and height function for big truck and bin maintenance. The use of repetitive elements (such as large roller doors and weather awnings) further articulate a simple building form into interesting and functional facades, which are corresponding to the current Industrial Site Context.
