Gordon Lee Architects has been commissioned to provide Design Development stage for a client who is intending to be the tenant for this site and providing carwash facility for a long term.  The detailed design then provides the landlord the basis to deliver the project in a design and construct package for the client's need.

The challenge for this project involves:

• Taking over the DA design from a respectful architect but without be providing existing building cad drawing for us to proceed.  Therefore the initial stage involves the time consuming detailed site measurements of the existing building.

• Integration of existing building with new structures and to comply with the stringent fire protection requirement.

• The design of leveling of the hard stand to comply with the strict environmental protection measure from waste water during operation while allowing efficient flow of storm-water across relatively flat site.
